| Higurashi Shrine
This shrine is home to Kagome Higurashi and her family. The shrine contains many buildings like the main shrine, the Higurashi's house, storehouses, and the Bone Eater's Well.

| Mount Hakurei
A mountain surrounded by an abnormally pure holy barrier. It is so powerful it will kill any yoki, killing pure-blooded youkai. The barrier also repels evil humans and dead souls.

| Demon Exterminator's Village
The demon exterminator's village is the village in which Sango and Kohaku were born. The village is home to a clan of people who exterminate demons for a living. Also the Jewel of Four Souls was formed in a cave near this village.

| Maylin
This is a little village. Naraku has placed himself as a rich lord here.

| Hot Springs
These hot springs are inside a large forest. Which comes in hand when you need to clean yourself or your clothes. These hot springs can also be very relaxing.

| Goshinboku
The Sacred "God" Tree or Tree of Ages is located in the forest near the Bone Eater's Well. This is the tree which InuYasha was sealed to by Kikyo.

| East River
Many people have walked along the side of the river. Villagers and visiters have even gone swimming in the river.

| Kaede's Village
This is the village where Kikyo and Kaede resided. Kaede still resided here. InuYasha's group sometimes visit and stay here.
